The Pocket Gets Patted First

Before anyone checks the weather, a hand goes to the chest: keys on the left, a card wallet on the right, the office badge wherever there’s room. That pat at the door is how you find out whether an overshirt is doing its job.

So the pocket is where our buying starts. A pocket an inch too shallow doesn’t look wrong in a photo. It looks wrong on the second day, when the keys tip out onto the car seat.
